id say it runs and acts 2x better with a pipe. I got another 564 ran it for a couple days stock muffler I wasn’t that impressed for the money they charge for it. I made a pipe for mine it did really improve it a ton. My saw is running way better with a pipe not trying to sell anything I’m just saying my thoughts.
A lot of fines on the air filter after cutting with pipe or With OEM muffler - id get a women’s sock nylon and put over filter.
i have not tested a pipe with a screen the screen will 100% take away from air flow. it is removable

Sporadic idle like dramatic low dramatic high with OEM muffler after pipe that practically went away.
Dies with brake on
Won’t start with brake on
Dies after long cut when you let off With OEM muffler it Would die after a long cut. With the pipe it changed dramatically and all that went away
